Set up the new computer

Sign in on the new computer, and add it to your account. The move report works as soon as you sign in. It does not wait for the approval.

Steps

1. Install Nearfield on the new computer. Sign in with the same email.
2. Open the screen “Check an earlier move”. You find it on the Samples tab.
3. At the top, the screen shows “This machine”. It says “Waiting for approval” until you add the computer from a computer you already use.
4. Add the new computer to your account. Read Add a second computer. This screen shows the code to compare. Check that the code is the same on both computers.
5. To use your recovery code instead, press “Go to Account”.

When it worked

The screen says “Approved”.

If the screen says that you must name your User Library first, press “Set your User Library”.

If it says that the library index is not built, rebuild it. Until you do, everything looks missing.
