Help / Fix / Copy samples from another project

Copy samples from another project

Some Sets use samples that live in the folder of another project. When you share such a Set, those samples do not go.

Steps

  1. Open the Fix tab.
  2. Under “Samples from another project”, press “See the samples and copy them” on a Set.
  3. Read what Nearfield will do with each sample. Then press “Copy them into my User Library and point the Set at them”.

When it worked

Nearfield uses a matching copy in your User Library, or copies the sample into the NF Shortened folder there. Then it makes a [repointed] copy of the Set. Your own Set and the files in the other folder do not change.

When more than one Set is listed, “Copy for all” does the same for every Set.
