Help / Fix / Choose which file a name means

Choose which file a name means

Sometimes more than one file on your disk has the name that a project asks for. Nearfield cannot know which one you mean.

Steps

  1. Open “Choose which file a name means” from the Samples tab.
  2. Press “Find unclear names”.
  3. Listen, and choose the right file.
  4. Press the Write button. It says how many repaired copies it writes.

When it worked

Each project that uses that name gets a repaired copy beside its Set, if it needs one. Your original Sets do not change.

Undo

Press “Undo this run” to remove the copies again. It keeps any copy that Live on this computer opened, or that Nearfield cannot be sure about.
