Install on Windows

Run the Nearfield installer on Windows. The beta builds are not signed yet, so Windows asks you to confirm.

When you open the installer, Windows may show a blue box that says it protected your PC.

Steps

1. Open the installer you downloaded. Its name starts with Nearfield-Setup.
2. In the blue box, click “More info”.
3. Check that the app is Nearfield-Setup, then click “Run anyway”.
4. Windows asks if this app may make changes to your device. Click “Yes”.
5. Follow the installer. On its last page, leave “Start Nearfield” ticked and click “Finish”.

When it worked

Nearfield opens. Next, follow Set up Nearfield.

More about this

If you do not see the blue box, there is nothing to do. The installer simply starts.
